Alejandro Meneses grew up in a world of haute couture at Emma Meneses Dresses, his grandmothers boutique, a fixture in Monterrey for one-of-a kind designer pieces from New York and other fashion capitals.
Meneses, who has a degree (BA 2019) in international marketing from the University of Monterrey began to venture into the world of fashion modeling for Calvin Klein (2014) shortly after high school. While working his way through college cobbling together jobs in public relations, marketing and cocktail catering, it was sneakers that really spoke to him. Living not far from Leon Guanajuato, Mexico's shoe capital, his vision began to take shape under the Rebel Bomb brand in 2017.
His unique hand-painted sneakers began to attract local press and profits. Meneses says his goal is to position Rebel Bomb in the global marketplace for high-end products of quality and style. After obtaining a degree (PGC 2020) in brand management strategies from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Meneses has continued to redesign the product and redefine the brand vision by strategizing the brand's future with artists and trendsetters in other fields.
