Is modern hip-hop culture as we know it?
In an experience of several days within the Texas hip hop scene, we were able to live with rappers who showed us what hip hop culture is like today and how the influence of the pandemic and political issues such as racism impact the music industry.
MISSOURI CITY, HOUSTON TX

For our latest editorial we collaborated with rapper El Trainn, from TSF record label, to document and capture the details in the life of a rapper in Missouri City. Houston, Texas.

We went to important places that mark his early days, from his home street to the studio where he works recording his albums. The photoshoot aesthetics capture the tones and shapes of a typical neighborhood in the district of Missouri City. The editorial was shot in the district of Missouri City by the mexican photographer Brenda Fernandez. The story presented itself in El Trainn’s hometown where he was born and has spent his life.
